Broiled Oysters Recipe
Dry a quart of oysters in a cloth, dip each oyster in melted butter well
peppered; then in beaten egg, or otherwise, then in bread or cracker crumbs
also peppered. Broil on a wire broiler over a live fire 3 to
5 minutes. Dip over each a little melted butter. Serve your broiled oysters hot.
