German Fried Potatoes
Cut up ½ a dozen firm boiled potatoes in slices 14 of an inch
thick. Put these into a saucepan with 2 ounces of fresh butter,
and shake them over the stove until they are lightly browned. Sprinkle
over them a small bit of pepper and salt, 1 table-spoonful of chopped parsley,
1 teaspoonf ul of finely minced onion, and the juice of 1/2 et small
lemon. 1 teaspoonful of good brown gravy can be added or not. Serve
piping hot. Time, ten minutes to fry the potatoes.
