Clothes Horses
Clothes horses are racks upon which clothes are hung to air. One variety has
two or three folds of ladder-like racks. The wood must be smoothly finished
so as not to catch and tear the clothes. A good size is 5 to 6 feet high, with
each fold 2½ feet wide.
Another variety is collapsible. When spread out it stands firmly on the floor,
and holds a great many clothes. When folded together it takes very little space.
