Chicken and Biscuits Recipe

Recipe for homemade chicken and biscuits.

Take a chicken, and make a fricassee; just prior to being ready to serve it, prepare two baking tins of rich soda or baking powder biscuits; take them from the oven hot, split them apart by breaking them with your hands, put them on a sizeable meat platter, covering it, then pour the hot chicken stew over it. Take to the dining table hot. This is a much better way than boiling these kinds of biscuits in the stew, as you are more sure of their being always light.
